What Rotate PDF does

Rotate PDF rotates every page in a PDF by 90, 180, or 270 degrees, fixing documents that were scanned sideways or upside down, processed entirely in your browser.

How to use it

1. Choose a PDF file.
2. Select the rotation angle: 90, 180, or 270 degrees.
3. Click Rotate PDF and download the corrected file.

Common uses

• Fixing a scanned document that came out sideways or upside down.
• Correcting the orientation of a PDF exported incorrectly from another app.
• Rotating a landscape document to portrait orientation, or vice versa, for consistent printing.
• Fixing photos or pages a scanner fed in the wrong direction.
• Standardizing page orientation across a merged document built from multiple sources.

Good to know

This rotates every page in the document by the same angle — if only some pages in a mixed document are misoriented while others are correct, you'll need to split out the affected pages first, rotate them separately, and merge the document back together afterward.

PDF rotation is stored as metadata on each page rather than physically re-encoding the page content, which is why rotating a PDF is a fast, lossless operation regardless of how large or image-heavy the document is — the underlying content doesn't change at all, only the instruction for how it should be displayed.
